The Kentucky Procurement Technical Assistance Center Hires Communications Coordinator

Lexington, Ky. (July 6, 2022) – The Kentucky Procurement Technical Assistance Center (KYPTAC) welcomed Anna Leigh O’Brien to the role of communications coordinator last month. The work of the communications coordinator focuses on both internal and external communications, including promoting KYPTAC events and opportunities via website and social media.

Prior to joining the KYPTAC team, Anna Leigh worked in the world of higher education enrollment for four years. Most recently, her role as assistant director of undergraduate admissions at Asbury University allowed her to hone skills in communication, public relations and recruitment strategy. O’Brien is a native of Lancaster, KY and is proud to call herself a lifelong resident of the Bluegrass region of Central Kentucky. She holds a BA in English and Spanish from Asbury University.

KYPTAC Executive Director Nancy Brown said, “On behalf of our team, I welcome Anna Leigh to KYPTAC. Anna Leigh will be the primary driver for communications and outreach on our team. She will be working on social media strategy and exploring ways to improve engagement with our clients and prospective clients so that we raise awareness of our program and better serve our community.”
